Andrew(MidTenn) and I we're talking a possible SPM "demo" at AMP during Miatas Before the Gap. Nothing official(at that event), but it'd be sweet for several of us SPM S2 cars to go out on track together

Booked a 2 queen room at the lodge this morning. Got a roommate for now, but you never know between now and then.

I've been thinking about it, still need to get the car tuned before then. Need to find a codriver or someone to split the room with too..

That'd be cool - not sure I want to drive unregistered S2 on the Tail though

I've still got a few years until I could register my 97M shell as a classic...

Psyber and I have a large cabin with a few other NC owners (continuing the takeover) - probably won't have any extra room, but I'll post here closer to the event if people back out.

Yeah, they have so much extra weight and body rolls that people should call them muffin tops.

Are you sure you feel good about your decision to have so many NCs posted in your cabin driveway? You might wake up in a sinkhole.

Hmm. On the other hand, we'll be prepared if there's a biblical flood.

Doh. (update)

Had to cancel my reservation to Fontana. I won't have enough time off saved up by then. I might swing by Saturday Morning and hang out for part of the day but I won't be there for any of the Thursday/Friday activities.

So I've never been to this (recently just got my first Miata.. noob-alert) but ever since i've had multiple people tell me "hope to see you at the dragon".. Should I assume that this event is what they've (for the most part) all been referring to? It's relatively close(ish) to home for me and sounds like a good time

You should totally look at the SEDIV schedule and come run the Dragon Hillclimb

Yep. This is it. Idk how many years ago it began. I drove up from Tampa with some other guys from the forum last two years. Accommodations will be hard to get if you wait.
