To clarify, I have a cabin at Fontana and Topoco, but I'm about to cancel the one at Topoco. It was a backup in case a bunch of extra people showed up.

Someone PM'd me and let me know I wasn't clear.

Nothing official, but many people show up with parts to slang. A few years ago we attempted to do an official parts-swap, but it quickly turns into a cluster if somebody wants to leave their parts at the swap area. Plus, there's a vendor there that does strictly used parts, ****** N Sniff. However, there's nothing wrong with people bringing their stuff and selling.

I have a front BBK as pictured. I don't recall if there are brake lines (didn't think to double-check today when I took the picture), has both four piston Wilwood calipers w/brackets and new pads (unknown maker), two rotors that are 11.5-11.75 inches in dia, and two 5mm spacers. Anyone interested I can bring them, otherwise will leave at home (stuff is heavy).

I'll be in cabin 660 again, according to the lady at the desk.

I'm bringing Miataturbo.net decals and turbokitty decals to share.

And I'll have a CB radio set up in the car and another in the cabin as a base station since there's no cell service. It made it handy for arranging meeting people to go out ("we'll meet you guys at the store in 15 minutes"), instead of having to drive or walk around looking for people.

So far in cabin 660 we will have me, Ryan G (with the orange Lotus this year), Gemlingz (all the way from Iceland), and Shuiend (Lars).

Everybody please give me a rundown of who else is going and where they are staying.

There's no data signal up there (no texting, haha).

I'm suggesting you use an offline-capable map for finding your way around if you're new to the area. Google maps has an offline feature where you can download the map of an area beforehand and have access for navigation with no data signal available. Mapfactor Navigator (free version) works offline as well.

Hopefully the cabin I am in will be close enough to watch the festivities between you two.

Roll call for MBTG on Thursday at AMP? I just signed up today for Intermediate group. Can’t make it up for MATG though, unfortunately.

I have a 6 speed transmission and a 1.8 driveshaft I can bring also. 6 speed has good synchros but drags the car forward probably due to 4th gearset being un-pressed.

Thanks for the tip on the cell service, that would have been difficult! Do you know if the hotel has wifi?

Yes, but only in the lobby and the restaurant. Anywhere else on premises you are sending smoke signals. So the answer might as well be no because people only go to the lobby or restaurant maybe once a day. You can forget finding or contacting people unless you see them in person. That is why it is important to know what cabin number people will be in, or what their cars will look like.

Speaking of which, my car is a Montego Blue 96 with peeling clear coat and a bright blue mismatched hardtop.

Another pro tip, download the offline google maps for the region on your phone. You may not get cell coverage, but as long as you still have GPS signal you can at least search and get yourself around the area.
