Nobody went to the hospital last time so we're doing it again! This time we are going to also have a coming out party for Shuiend and his MK Turbo kit! Many funs are to be had! Bring fun to share! Prepare to meet notorious members of the Miataturbo.net community. Prepare to see an MK Turbo kit on a running car!

August 1-3August 15-16, 2015 at the same place as 2010 and 2013. Jackson Lake, just 40 minutes southeast of the Atlanta airport.
Address is: 205 Cherokee Drive, Jackson, GA 30233.

Bring your boat, bring your jetski, bring your swimsuit, bring your water wings and floaties. Bring stuff to grill and eat and snack on and I'll do the same. I'll also bring a boat, wakeboard, kneeboard, and a tube. Bring a sleeping bag or something if you plan to spend the night. And exotic oils.

We'll probably do a bonfire.

It is on my calendar I will be there. MKTurbo ugly test car should also be out. But that means I won't have my smoker with me.

hmmmm. We'll see what my schedule is like closer to the date. If I'm in town, I'll bring the T2 MKTurbo setup.

I'm a very tentative "maybe." MATG is the weekend before and weekends are the only time i see my wife anymore.

35mph roads with cops and motor homes everywhere with miles of no passing, ------s on loud Harleys and uncool straight guys with tastless modifications to their cars. I guess once you have been to an event with a bunch of mnetters in attendance you know better. It takes doing it.

I mean, the road is great but you won't get to really enjoy it. That's the problem with the place.

That's why i show up on Wednesday and don't really run Deal's Gap for anything other than a way in and out of the resort. ;)

Also: Run Deal's Gap at night. Way better.

There are some very curvy roads with great elevation changes near the lake house. And some even better ones over by Hot Rod Jamie's place.
We might have to take a field trip over to Jamie's again this year.

You spelled must wrong. That was pretty much the best part of the last meetup. Everyone was laughing like little girls on that raptor.

Jamie has been busy since then. He's built a new lounge within the garage, in addition to the outside bar. The new lounge was part of an 18th century church in England that was dismantled and shipped over here. It was a Bishop's meeting room, dark wood and stained glass. I don't have any good pictures of the inside of it, but Jamie has a large Rockola CD Jukebox in the corner.

probably the one weekend i have something going on... hmm. $200 roundtrip aint bad though; equals what I'd pay in gas if I took the 650 mile drive.

You could write off all of your expenses if you flew and are employed by IB and get a 1099.

For those who are unaware, Paul drove up from St. Augustine or therabouts and ripped his foot open when he ran and jumped off the dock, catching an exposed nail during the run. He is the reason my first aid kit contains clotting powder.

The weather was warm and nice. I'm really looking forward to this event again.

I have a month to build a turbo setup for my NB, get it installed, and get it running before the lake house party. It should be interesting.

There will probably be Miataturbo.net decals awarded to the attendees as well.

Nolan has agreed to get us some printed decals made for this event. I am working getting Braineack to design a cool new decal or something.

Nice of you to plan this when I'm traveling to Bonneville for Speedweek. Really, really need an excuse to take a cruise in the turbo car. It's been neglected. :(

We had to fit it between matgay, and Lars' vir chump event. There is always something going on. Besides, Lars needed time to finish the kits.

You should have fit it between my VIR UTCC event and my Bonneville event. ;)

Ok kids, we are contemplating switching the event dates to August 15-16. Any strong objections or encouragement?

Scheduling works better for Lars and myself and hopefully more of you guys can make it.
I was getting lots of scheduling conflict complaints and want to have as many happy campers as possible.

Yep this gives me more time to get the NB car boosted. Started ordering IC parts for it today.

I am more possibru for this date. Will depend on how the car holds together 2 weeks prior.

^I was hoping we'd pick up a few of you guys who insisted on going to the MATG the month prior.

Maybe we can get teh Braineak to come down, too.

Lame......I will likely be in the UK for work on this date. If I am in the country I will definitely be there.
