Let's see...IF;

- I can get my car back together in time, and...
- it survives long enough, and...
- my SO doesn't throw a sh*t fit, then...

I'll be there (at least on Saturday).

Well, obviously not me.

I don't ever pull out.

It has been tried with mixed results. Read product reviews.

Either you guys are really lazy about signing up or this will be exceptionally easy to shop for regarding groceries. Looks like we are having steak 3 times a day!

I don't see myself coming unless i get the car back together in time.... It's up to fate now. And me ordering some parts ASAP.

Don't let the Miata hold you back. After all, I'm driving a truck and pulling a boat to the event.

I'm trying to make it out there. It'd be nice to bring the MSM but it'll mean I need to talk the wife into sitting shotgun in the Sparco's for a good 8 hour drive. I also just got back from a exhausting two week Field Exercise with 120° heat index everyday... The thought of camping is not exactly exciting right now.

I wish I could make it. Best case I won't have my car running until Wednesday. New motor and new everything else. Might come if I can talk myself into getting it fired and comfortable to drive. New engine and no idea how to tune it sounds like a perfect idea for a road trip car.

Do it! I'm coming with probably less than 300 miles on a new engine (that I already "blew up" twice), and low oil pressure. I need the moral support.

You can come in the DD if you have to.

I got the setup built I am bringing down done yesterday. I should be installing it later this week.

sixshooter 08-03-2015 07:53 PM

I'd drive the Miata if I didn't need to bring the boat. And my car isn't particularly handsome anyway.

TorqueZombie 08-03-2015 10:23 PM

The DD is this car I'm building sadly. Other whip is the wife's ST. If the Miata fires up Wednesday I may consider it. Base map from Rev and autotune. Driving 5+ hours on a new motor terrifies me.

sixshooter 08-04-2015 10:41 AM

If you don't find a leak or something wrong in an hour it is usually going to be good. Just get your test drives out of the way and fix anything before departing. In 5 hours your autotune should be PERFECT!

FrankB 08-04-2015 09:00 PM

Is it okay to show up Friday night or should I make the drive Saturday morning?
