I know this. That's why I asked on the mob whether it's possible. I dont have a problem paying twice. Just wanna see the differences.

paul 10-21-2008 02:18 PM

You'll have to dyno first. Then take the car out and start the swap. I'll dyno. Then I'll help. Then I'll retune it with you and you can go again.

johndoe 10-21-2008 05:29 PM

I'm in.

Saturday, Nov.15th...I'm still running my voo-doo box with 7psi. I could come down though and do a pull just to get some figures, talk miata performance, and support the cause. If this is the same place it was at before, it took me 1hr and 15 min? $60?

That would be ideal. That way we can get a same day comparison of a gutted IM and what kind of power gains/losses it will have on the car with no other changes but the time of day.

paul 10-21-2008 08:05 PM

yes yes. so are you committing?

Braineack 10-21-2008 08:42 PM

fmowry 10-22-2008 11:37 AM

johndoe 10-22-2008 11:44 AM

load a good spark map and the fuel map will take care of itself.

johndoe 10-22-2008 02:11 PM

well the spark is what I'd like to tune. Fuel I'm not worried about.
edit: and to be completely off topic anyone know if there is a minimum order for these things "Tyco P/N 173631 for .070" contacts www.onlinecomponents.com"? and how long it takes to get>?

paul 10-25-2008 06:58 PM
