Nothing near me has anywhere near the level of beer selection that Lost Dog has, if that's of any concern.

Down Gallows from me are a couple decent places. We have Grevey's, which is a sports bar with a bajillion TVs, decent sports bar-type food, and they at least have a couple decent beers.

1/2 mile down the road from there is Four Sisters, a Vietnamese place. All of their dishes I've had were quite good, and it's not expensive. Their beer selection is limited (IIRC nothing better than Sam Adams) but I can live with it since the food is good.

In Falls Church City, kinda sorta on your way home from my place, there's the Mad Fox Brewing Company. Worth checking out if you haven't been there yet. Good food menu. Their ESB and porter were both good, haven't sampled the rest since I've only been there once.

Drive up here tomorrow morning. What's keeping you down there during the week? You get a job or something?
