In once I'm not lazy and register over there. Whats the price going to be like? I'm plenty legal for track days, but don't have any apparel for more official organizations. So what are the rules going to be like?

From the looks of things cost would be similar to your average hpde ~150 per day. We are in the stage of contacting a club or two to run with. Note that this is not wheel to wheel racing; rather its for time. Therefore cages are not required nor driving gear. Cars will range from street (miata with a rollbar) to ultimate classes (forced induction purpose built).
Woot. I'm "modified". Street if I don't use my R888s.
EDIT: Awwww :(
EDIT: Awwww :(
Street: Must retain complete OEM dash, a real passenger seat, door cards and carpet. Carpet may be removed behind driver seat. No removal of any single component over 1 lb unless otherwise allowed for Street class.

S'all good! Fun will be had no matter what class you fall into. Please make an effort to join in and check the supermiata.com forum frequently. I want to get an idea of what sort of interest we have in this.
Bump to pass if Ben's out there with us....
I'm going to start in modified as well. I just think it will be better competition than street and I'll have plenty of points left to make upgrades over the season without changing classes.
