Default PA Dyno Day 3/26/2011!!!

Gentleman (and ladies)...

We have a local gentleman here who broke his back in a car wreck and we are getting a dyno day together and we hope to have some roadster representation.

Initially Moto-East was to be doing a separate dyno day, however we are merging ours with the R/T tuning one in support of a good cause.

For those of you who want to know who Mike is and what happened to him, you can read this here: http://www.tristatetuners.com/forum/...ad.php?t=53940

Personally I will attempt to go for over >300whp with my NC. Some of you remember it from the 2009 dyno day in MD where it did 283.

The location is as follows:

Address is R/T tuning in Lansdale, PA 635 w 3rd st

We will secure spots for miata folks, it is 40 for two runs for 2wd, 50% deposit is due to secure a spot. I will reserve at least 5 contact me to arrange payment etc...

Donations for Mike can be sent here: max2k1donations@yahoo.com (DO NOT send payment for dyno time here though)

I will keep a master list here and here as well

This is not a forum or company specific day, but a time to help out a fellow enthusiast in need, and show everyone else your turbo miata! Even if you do not plan to dyno, come by and see some serious cars put down power.

50% of the take from the dyno fees are going to Mike to help get his house fully handicap accessible.

I'll have to check my schedule when I get home, but I'm sure I can make it.

I'm going to hold at least 5 guaranteed spots for folks. Hopefully we will have much more than that. For those not wanting to dyno this will be a great time regardless, so come out for a good cause and see some awesome cars!

Looks like I will be attending. I have yet to swap compressors and re-do my turbo to intercooler plumbing. I want to put my other front bumper on, but I should have it done by then. You're shooting for 300? I'm going for 235, lol.

Looks like I'm not swapping bumpers. I'm also leaving my current compressor, just redo-ing my turbo inlet piping and swapping wastegate actuators.

good stuff hope to see you guys there. Spots are filling slowly, I expect this to be full in a couple of weeks. As these things are everyone waits till the last minute.

I still have two reserved spots left, but can still get a couple more.

Not going to dyno, but I'll probably stop by since I'm like five minutes away.

Reserve one for me, budget is still negotiating with his wife

http://www.newmiata.com/vb/showthrea...-East-dyno-day

I am a little confused(remember I'm old). The linked posting says "dyno no longer at said location"

Also, where do we paypal deposits and should they be listed as "gifts"

My coworker claims to be on the edge of a deal right now for a 99 BMW M3 that's twin turbo. Supposedly it makes over 400 whp at 13psi. If he gets it this weekend, he said he'd dyno it if. If he doesn't get it, he's going to ride there with me anyway.
I'll let you know by Monday if his deal goes through.
