No mention of what kind of Dyno they use.

Plus its kinda pricey. We used to do the NorthEast dyno days for $50 or 60 for 4 pulls and they give you plenty of time in between to tune. This place wants 75 if you preregister or 100 if you do it the day of for only 3 pulls.

 

$75-100 for 3 pulls is average & dumb.

it's dumb to spend 75-100 when you can spend 50-60 and get more pulls with you working your own throttle and time between runs to do some tweaks to your tune. At the typical dyno day there's always someone with bandaids or some other type of control that takes forever to change settings and take 30 min on the dyno doing 4 or 5 pulls. This may annoy others to some extent, it's still the same price and allowed.

EDIT: But if this porsche/audi/vw boutique place can charge more for less, it'll be dumb for them to do otherwise.

 

Passed along the suggestions,and the response was favorable for all of us cheap *** Miata owners. Guess the other guys will be getting a deal. Also, it is a DynoJet Dyno.


The prices for the dyno day have been lowered to 65$ this will include 3-4
pulls,a video of your best pull and a print out.There will be time between to tune within reason. Due to the possible amount of vehicles that may be attending we cannot give out 30min of tuning time between pulls.
