This morning on my way in...I was on GWP in VA and a teal Miata passed me...I was driving my ML320 (lowered, biggers lighter wheels, low profile tires, full custom suspension, exhaust, supercharger-300HP) and I was having a terrible time keeping up...same turns I was taking at 65-70MPH (60 degree turns) he/she was doing at 90MPH. It was alot of fun...and his/her car sounded MEAN. Possibly turbo'd?? Either way...nice ride...and fast.

Just trying to see if it was someone here. And before I get flamed for "racing" my ML...I can out handle an RX-8 on the same road...

 

you obviously havent spent any time reading on this forum, if you had youd know that racing is semi-accepted. As long as you dont say you were tandem ******** with the miata, no one will "flame you for racing".

 

Racing is one thing...racing my 5,000LB SUV is ANOTHER thing completely... But I do understand what you mean

This was possibly me. I have a teal 03 and I was commuting to Arlington at that time of year. I have an enthuza 3" so it's pretty loud. Howdy ho!

 

i saw a teal miata on the toll road today. but it was slow and driven by an older woman.

btw, it's sad when I consider "high 40s" to be a miata day :(

 

I purposely got my manual steering conversion done thursday night so I could go out with the top down yesterday. It was well worth the work to have one decent day of top down weather.
