TX/Dallas area?
Just looking to hook up with locals so just looking for car clubs or good places in the area to meet people or find good deals on Miata cars and parts...
I want to buy a turbo Miata in the next 1-2 weeks (if I can find the right one that is...) so I will need local places for parts/people, etc...

Dallas is the land of superchargers. I buy everything I can from TDR though. The guy who runs it and Johnwag who works with him have lots and lots of track time and I agree with both of them on most things. Lap times are seriouz biznass.
Got cars?
You guys have a shop? You sell just parts or cars also? Wheres the best place to get an already setup Miata locally?? I've been using CL, autotrader, word of mouth...but am not finding a whole lot. Most stuff I find have been places like here.

Do you prefer supercharger or turbo? The jackson one seems to suck (not much power)...Any you can recommend that are good? Do you know where in TX I can buy an already setup Miata?? I'd rather just buy one already setup the way I want it for money reasons.

Trackdog Racing probably has a supercharged car for sale at any given time.
You want local? Check out dfwmiata. Depending on your location, you might consider dropping by Keller's on NW Hwy tonight. Should be a decent turnout, though there are a few folks, Gary and wags included, who are out of state at the moment. The last couple of gatherings at Keller's had 27 and 30-ish cars present.
As to pre-built, blown Miatas, give TDR a call. If nothing else, they seem to have a way of acquiring Miatas now & again. I'm sure they'd be happy to build-to-taste, too, if the triple black '94 they just bought doesn't already have a blower.

Hey Goop,
You're welcome to come by the shop sometime next week, once Gary and I are back in town. You can check out a few different cars at our shop and if you haven't made it to a meet, i recommend you come out and check out the local cars.

Even if Gary doesn't have what you need or want at the moment, it would be in your best interest to stop by and have a look see. Great people, and great knowledge without bias.

Seriously though, they don't troll the boards like other shops...just work on cars and go to the track.
