Spoolin is it even happening?

Not going. It's too hot and I have to save my pennies to move to Houston. I'd rather us scratch that event and set-up another at HHR.

Well the response so far is underwhelming. I take that as a sign that this will not be one of the high attendance TxMC events, if it happens at all.

This was never on the schedule this year john. November nasa @ TWS this year. Possibly TWS open track day in Oct. if we can't do H2R members day. find out anything on that? I don't think they care as long as we pay, and there's atleast one member there with us. lmk, so i can post the remaining events for the year.

I will however be there for fun and instructing. track adrenaline > heat
I'll be in our crx though. ready to drag race ya on the frt. straight with it!

OK my bad. I thought for some reason Aug TWS was on the schedule.

I am talking some more with H2R about having an informal event using the guest rate. I'll let you know what we come up with that makes us and them happy. Does anyone have a problem with a Friday event if we cannot have it on the weekend?

You can keep the green car at my house and I'll trailer it out to you when you want it. We can make this work.

She is my "domestic partner" since we're Satan worshiping atheists. This brings up an interesting note, Rice University provides health insurance for students and their spouses; Rice provides health insurance to same-sex couples in "domestic partnerships". It must be a same-sex domestic partnership, or a christian marriage. Katie wants me to sue them, lol. In for multi-billion dollar settlement for the shame I've endured by Rice University and the adverse, chronic mental condition I've endured stemming from the inept policy team which created a systemic hostile environment against traditional, atheist families which compromises the domestic integrity of our relationship and the irreparable American cultural damage in their conquest to destroy our way of life.

Yes, I've never fished off-in that there ocean. I can certainly build a bigger fire than you.

If you're going to Little Rock, I'm not going to Houston.

Hustler you blew it for the next H2R TxMC. H2R does not allow athiests to race at their track, and now that I know you are a heathen, I cannot allow you to attend being the pious individual that I am. It is a good thing you did not mention this previously or you would have been forcibly baptized in the big plastic tank in the back of the H2R truck. This is Texas after all. Being an athiest is like not watching football or something. No wait, not watching football is worse around here.

Some say that the gods will strike him down any day now due to his repeated disregard for the laws of nature, and that he only fears smite from the gods of speed. All we know is, he is called the Hustler.

Baptize me in a barrel of Belgian Tripel and I'll convert to whatever suits the good of TXMC.

So since Hustler agreed to the Belgian Baptism it looks like we can make something work at H2R in October. I am going to be out of town for two of those weekends, most likely the 14th through the 23rd. Otherwise I am open.

We need to keep the H2R attendance down to say maybe a dozen, and everyone has to be on good behavior since I have to 'vouch' for all you yahoos. No grass fires, no belligerence with track management, etc. Not that the TxMC crew was responsible for any of this behavior last time. The regular TxMC crowd will be fine, except for Hustler, at least not until he gets baptized. This is a low key deal, not even really an event, just another member day with a bunch of guests.

The H2R exhaust noise limits apply though I think everyone was OK at H2R last time. Hell my car is probably the loudest so if I am OK then you are all probably OK. Guest fees are still TBD though it will not be any more than what the track days usually cost. And, it will be open track, all day, except for lunch.

I do not know if timing will be working or not. That is a wait-and-see kind of thing at H2R so we should be prepared to handle our own timing.

yeah, just like all the open track days we've done at TWS. it's an event for us, not the track. no instructors so no newbs, probably not any timing either so we'll have to share or hand clock those without a gps or beacon lap timer. i might even buy a beacon type transmitter and receiver.

and Rharris was too loud with his all motor monster last time. unfortunately he put a muffler on it just in time to not run anymore. sucked
so make sure you have a back up plan, especially if your n/a.

Yeah now way I was as loud as they were saying, but none the less, I will have to put on a muffler before going back there.
