We get pumped up about big turbos and wide body kits. Nutmeg guys get pumped up with wood stearing wheels and episodes of Matlock.

If I was taking the miata I would go early, but since I'm not we're going to sleep in a little and be there probably around 10ish.

lol to tell you the truth, we'll be lucky if we get there by 12.

I carry a full assortment of tools and backup supplies in the miata at all times. Sockets, extensions, wrenches, pliers, zip ties, spare bolts, nuts and washers, o-rings, vacuum hose, etc etc.

I've had the miata try and ******* leave me on the road too many times dude. Thankfully every time it has I was able to fix the issue (knock on wood).

I never bring anything, not even a spare or Jack stand. I've been to Delaware for the dyno day and I still didn't bring anything.. I trust my work too much to be worried, only thing that could happen would be my engine blowing and there's no wrench in the world that would fix it on the road lol...

This is true....I think the same way most of the time. Thats why I got AAA . IDK, I just get worried about something stupid happening that I could fix. It would blow having to track down tools / supplies if it was something easy. Since I weight like 100lbs more than you and will have tools in the trunk, I'm thinking when we run I should get a fender lead ?

I can't believe its just you and me. I thought there'd be a few of us going up. I'd bring my fiance but she is going shopping with her mom. The dude with the speed3 from my work backed out (he's going to the show but not cruising up...) My buddy with the harley will probably do the same. O well, it'll still be a good time. I've never cruised with another turbo'd miata.

lol

It shouldn't have anything to do with trusting your work or not. Its about being prepared for the unexpected. Like when a PPF bolt finally loosens out from the extra power your making, then it falls down and scraps across the ground digging into the asphalt. If I didnt have tools, I would have had to call for a tow on that one.

Dude I totally wish I could bring the miata and cruise with you guys on the way up, but it figured that something would happen to keep me from getting to drive the car some more. I think it likes being parked more than driven.

I would hate to roll up with you and nick and make you guys cry if I beat you with her mazda 6.

I heard the nutmeg guys were having a early rise car wash/hotdog eating contest meet. You should look into that. lol

I should grab your cell so I can give you guys a call once I'm there, just in case you guys aren't around your cars.

I think its like 45 min almost exactly from there...thats what garmin told me last night from my driveway which is about two miles away.

Just got through checking everything on the car. I was actually surprised to find a few things that needed to be tightened: T-bolts - intercooler couplings, all the exhaust hardware, pan bolts (was dripping a little oil, no wonder why , some were finger tight ), down pipe flange bolts. I should be good to go! Should be a good ride / show. RU-REDY ?

Your car will still look cleaner than mine no matter how dirty it is though.
