What about if you haven't been to been to laguna seca before, cause that's the requirement for C. I know the layout of the track pretty well since I have a simulator set up that I built years ago, but never been there physically so I figured I'd do D. I think C might be better since my girlfriend and I are planning a couple track days together this summer and I'm doing Lemons again which would put me at 4-5 trackdays+ however many autox. At the same time, I don't wanna slow anyone down.
Suggestions?
Suggestions?
1. Register for C and maybe get booted
2. Register for Dinner and might have to go slower. Orrrr...
Last year they let me move from C to B for the second day. So you might just register for D Saturday and C Sunday. Should be good that way.

Three possible courses of action:
1. Register for C and maybe get booted
2. Register for Dinner and might have to go slower. Orrrr...

Unsure if I should C or B. My only experience in B was ride alongs in vendor cars like 4-5 years ago when the organizers yelled at everyone for driving like ******* lunatics, so I don't have a solid gauge.
Its the M@MRLS way.

If you install seats that hold you in place, do B because I'm sure you'll speed up. Otherwise, if you run similar pace as last year, C might be best. But like Aidan said, you're very aware so I don't think you'd have much of an issue in B.

Ed, you are absolutely not wrong. Its genuinely frightening getting tossed around inside my car holding on to just the steering wheel. I can't imagine what its like for passengers I need to remember to poke Ian about the seats he mentioned the other day.

Yeah. When you start pushing it hard it really helps to not have to worry about keeping yourself in place. I got a fair bit faster even just once I realized how tight the harnesses should be.

I might not run this event anymore cause of the name. It's almost as bad as miatapalooza. Seriously who decided this crap. That being said I'll probably see you guys out there. Maybe only one day this year. Mrls is a pretty lame track/facility imo and I don't go any other time just for this event.

He's keeping the URL, but that's about it.
Go figure.

I agree. I am honestly embarrassed to tell people about the event because of the idiotic name. It's fine for an article about driving 19 miatas or whatever it was, but "Hey dude, you should come to Miatagasm this year" just doesn't quite work.
