I managed to meet up with Koto before he departed TX and we took some photos. It's a point and shoot camera and we both admit to having no camera skill.











































The day ended with my heater core pipes finally giving out and spraying coolant all over my foot/gas pedal. Meh.

Nah not really. Mostly just cruised. I was worried about my coolant leak the whole time.

 

The cars look fantastic. Splitter turned out great too.

 

What's with the tape on the nose?

 

Large scratch from a shitty engine hoist and my oil pan kissing the bumper. Or might have been trans... can't remember. So just put that on there to keep it from peeling worse. One day I'll fix it..

FRT's car would have made me look silly had we raced, he has a bigger engine and better hardware.

I made it to Jacksonville in 19 hours flat (left at 1:04PM central time and arrived 9:00AM eastern time). Almost as I got to Jacksonville I had zero boost and thought maybe I'd blown the turbo. Nope, just snapped the WG bracket. I guess my design wasn't so good after all.

Plus, like, check out how many trophies I snagged on the road.

there almost twins! i had leaky coolant hose still onto my legs/ shoes.. that was the worse 3hr drive i spent in my miata..

where in texas? anyone near ft hood?

 

San Angelo. If I remember correctly 4-5 hours from Hood.... not really sure though.
