Epic video: first time in NASA Time Trials
Since I was kind enough to serve as a last-minute volunteer HPDE instructor during a NASA event last month at Texas World Speedway, they let me run in the Time Trial session. This video clip starts after the warm-up lap and ends with the checkered flag; it lasts about ten and a half minutes.
I added fun facts, like identifying all the cars that appear, and Lateral G's and Top Speeds during the best lap.
Also, this video features a bitchin' soundtrack. Turn up the audio for the full effect.
Here go the NASA Time Trial results from this particular session.

Thanks, mates. It's good to look at my stuff from two and a half years ago.
Resurface? Nah, that track is closing this summer. Sad, really, as it's my all-time favorite track. Good news is, I'll be getting another chance at a Personal Best, as there's another NASA Time Trials event in two weeks. I'll be shooting for a low 1:56.xx lap time.
