Default Fun club drive up the mountain

Went for a drive with the local club yesterday. We heard last week that workers finally cleared our favorite road for the summer. This road is the last stretch of Mt. Baker highway that takes you up to Artist Point. Artist point is at 5140 feet and the last 1000 feet of road climbs in just a couple of miles, if that.

Its fun playing in the snow in august. This point and shoot we used really sucks. I'll get pics later from some of the guys that had good cameras.

This is what the road is like on the way up. Lots of switch backs with little room for error. You go over the edge of this particular switchback, you fall many hundreds of feet.

Just for the fun of it, here is a shot from exactly 1 year ago when we went.

Wow, that looks like so much fun! I've never seen snow before, but I would love to try that.

That Z3-M clown shoe is bad ***, lol. Always wanted one.
