Well, considering a Town Car doesn't have a shot in hell of catching a Goat, and there were a ton of witnesses, he probably didn't need to chase him down.

The GTO didn't keep his foot in it and hit triple digits, he just cruised off. There was enough traffic in front of him that he would have had to maneuver around it. That Town Car could have easily gotten close enough by the end of the video to get a tag number. From a roll it ought to be able to get up to 50-60 mph relatively quickly.

I'm just sayin, the person driving the Town Car didn't even try. Sure there were witnesses, but did any stop? Did any have useful information? Personally, I wouldn't want to rely on witnesses...

 

a lot of those livery cars have cameras in em facing foward so maybe when the guy changed lanes it caught the plate. I'm sure the driver not being the owner isn't too concerned about insurance. Besides he probably has passengers and can't exactly start chasing someone with a fare in the car.

 

Tose guys are no dumber than the idiots in the canyons out here on any given weekend. Carnage galore...same with the sport bike guys, etc. If you put an ego maniac meat head in/on anything they will ruin it at some point.

As for witnesses, I was referring to all of the people standing up on the hill watching, including the guy videotaping. Seems to me a few of them would know the guy, no?
