I saw the ricochet one a while back and keep it in mind when I'm at the range. You wanna make sure your firing at dirt and not rocks or this could happen.

I've seen both of those.

I did see a real life bust you in the chops with an assault shotgun.

Girl lost 4 teeth. She should have waited for help before firing. Like she was told.

I wonder if a kick like that has ever caused someone to shoot themselfs. It certanly could have happend with the .50 pistol there.

yes it has... last year there was a 10yr old kid shooting a fullauto mac9 for the first time, dad behind him. The recoil roatated the muzzle back to his head and yep, instant death.
I have heard of grown men doing it with a desert 50 too (almost like the gril above)... recoils back and they accidently squeeze the trigger while trying to pull it back on target.
I let my wife shoot my 45 Para warthog for the first time this past fall. She has dainty hands... I loaded a full mag, in her hand, remembered the kid, called her off, removed the mag, then let her shoot. Good thing as it whipped out of her hand. She says it hurt her wrist bad enough that she didn't want to shoot it again and wanted to stick with the Sig P22. I've shot a desert 50, and after 2 rounds my wrists had enough... thing weighs 5 pds and still has enough kick to jack your wrists up.
