While it looks like it would be amazingly good fun, I think it would kind of suck compared to a bike on which you can easily outrun the police. I'm not sure if you could pull it off in a kart, even it it was one of those sick gixxerkarts.

With that said it must be the coolest thing ever to be overtaken by a kart on the freeway.

shifter_kart + freeway_cloverleafs + night_traffic + headlamps + cajones + capitalism = oh_hell_yeah!

 

You kidding me? we would die on our san antonio roads! It's hard enough to drive the miata without getting lost in a cavernous pot hole(er, sink hole)! Hell yeah it would be fun right up until then!

Oh crap, I was going to say 'if only I had a shifter kart..'. Now I am out of excuses...

 

Start at 10E & Hausman, take the 1604W exit, make the 1604/10E loop, mad dash to the 10/410E interchange and hope you can get to the 410/281 intersection before the SAPD finds you...
