Cobb Stg 3
3" DP and exhaust Upgraded TMIC
Now he has a STi Turbo, FMIC, and Cobb tune. I actually ran him the same night as the 1/4 mi drag races, and I was ahead by a fender, so he got a retune to go from 340whp to 360whp. I wonder what he is gonna do when I go from 10psi to 15psi??
Third gear only goes to 60mph??? 6-spd?

3rd 1.333 104.9 mph
4th 1.000 139.9 mph
5th .814 171.8 mph
That's how my car is geared right now.
235-40-17 tires, 4.10 rear, stock 5-spd, 7900 rpm redline.
I think 172ish mph is PLENTY FAST in a Miata. I do like going thru the traps at redline in 3d.

3rd 1.333 104.9 mph
4th 1.000 139.9 mph
5th .814 171.8 mph

there is no such thing as stage 3, according to cobb anyways. UNLESS you are talking about stage 2 with a sti turbo and top mount, which some people call stage 3. and there is NO WAY IN HELL his wrx put down anything close to 340 or 360whp with his setup. vf39 turbo's put down 300-320 very well tuned on a optimistic dyno on pump gas, let alone a little td04 hahaha

Thats my thinking also. Id love to stay 5 speed, but I dont wanna be worried with possible failure at any point, then be left stranded. 6 speed and 3.6 is close enough to stock 4.1 and 5 speed, just with an extra cruise gear.
I've never heard of Keith blowing them up in his SM-T cars, and they make close to 300whp. He goes thru alot of stock motors, but no 5-spds.

Maybe he's getting that guy in OKC to "strengthen" them. I don't see how he's keeping them together. I'd love to hear the answer. I've never actually met keith, but I met his buddy in the yellow/black car who drove a session on the 1.3 and basically "burned rubber" like a viper fagmo.
