Default My first Miata

Just took a couple of quick pics of my new car. 1993 1.6L. It used to be white but the old lady that owned it before me changed it to silver. Its a terrible paint job. Picked the car up for $2800.

If the yota wasn't in the last pic I would say its a submittable pic to the calendar thread.

Nice...for that price I hope it was in nice shape.

What are your plans for it?

Well, my brother so kindly gave me a BP, because he mistakenly bought it for his 323 GTX. He found out after that it is more work than he thought to make it fit. So 1.8 swap and boost of course! And yes, the body is mint, which is what i was looking for. The engine has an awesome oil leak, which i should hopefully have fixed this week.

Good find. Are those HDR shots or are they just well lit?

If I had that truck, I'd pretend I was Marty McFly and drag race backwards.

The truck stays in pretty good shape as long as I keep Biff in line. That shifty bastard will try tellin me there's two coats of wax on it when I know damn well he's only done one. His antics are getting really tired with me. He's been pulling this same **** for like 25 years.

Lol it's so funny how values are different. Up here in BC, people are selling 1990 miata's for $5500+ still. There are some for less, but they are completely junked.

That last picture looks great. Love the lighting.

Im pretty sure the lady I bought it off of had no idea what she had, to her it was just an old car that wasnt practical anymore. Ive been waiting to find a deal like that for almost 2 years.
