I need to find a manual trans for my outback wagon, get a turbo for it, and pull my green car to the track on an aluminum trailer.

Still can't decide if I like the red or not, but the car is on point otherwise...

Thats basically what i would want mine to look like, except for the red rims. Probably some gunmetal rims or something.

I drive a 2000 Mazda Protege to Union Job sites all the time, and I'm not a Union worker.. Of course, I'm contracted BY unions for IT work... :jerkit:

Off hand, do you know if a 1995 Impreza AWD Trans would work? If so, I know where one is and it won't be expensive either..

Are you kidding? Do you realize how long he's been working to get his miata boosted? How long do you think it would be before he got started on another project car?

I need the diff and the controller too. Its going to be a fucking bitch unless I just put another auto trans in. I need to just sell that fucker and get a white ms3...but that takes money.

Shit. Diff went to the junk yard, the engine and entire car harness went to another guy already. I vote +1 on MS3.

Well in that case, get something expensive and Flashy. If they hate you, fuck em... then fuck WITH them.. ;)

Even much as I'd rather kill myself than drive a Honda... NSX's are getting affordable now.

but the parts for them are stupid expensive. clutch and flywheel will run 3grand, $800 for a starter, window regulators are $600, hell stock front pads are $200.

:giggle: I'm waiting for my friend to figure that out. He sold his Mr2 and S2k to buy it, and probably spent way too much $$ on it..

They sound pretty good, but its just not my thing.

I was at a dealer last night and the word is that the cars are no longer available with a removable hard top.

That's gotta be the gayest thing Mazda has done with the NC's yet. I'm sure you can find one with <10K mile son it with a removable HT for a good price if that's what you're set on though.

elesjuan 10-30-2008 02:13 PM

Loki: Curious, whats wrong with the power hard top NC model? I'd just assume have that on any car if it didn't add 1000 pounds to it, which my understanding is it didn't.. No soft top to slash or get otherwise damaged.

I dont like the way the retractable top looks. I want the removable for the winter and soft for the summer. Or probably removable for most of it except weekends.

if you liked the 325, you should definitely test drive the 335i/135i....the 6cyl tt engines are ridiculous
