Nick Cahill in his Mazda Miata drifting in the rain, we are not normally fans of the Miata (except Coleman) but this is one badass looking Miata.

Respect demanded - they should've just left it at badass, as looks are secondary - unless you suck like me and have to 'look' fast to get respect. Your car is purely badass - badass looking included in that badge!

The full tread RS3's sucked in the rain?...or was it just the amount of rain?

Have you seen the tread patterns on the RS3's? There's very little negative space there, as well as huge blocks.

I'm running them, but haven't dealt with rain yet. Interestingly, TireRack ran a test of tire performance and found that high performance summer tires, even with their "little negative space" outperformed all season tires in the rain. They lose performance, but still don't get down to the level of grip that all seasons have. The sticky rubber makes up for the poorer water extraction. I'm sure there is a point, where the water gets deep enough, that would reverse that.

When hitting standing water in RS2's, I definitely felt the car get loose. Not as bad as NT-01's, but still.

The RS3's should be worse than the RS2's, as well.
