Think you can take the fairings off and get some pictures of the engine and stuff.

I could take fairings off but its something like -4 outside right now and my garage isn't much warmer. Maybe when it starts to warm up a little

I'll have to dig for 'rocco pics most were lost in a hard drive failure.

Nice bike man,

I didn't realize that Yamaha made a turbo bike too.
I thought that the Honda CX500/650 was the only factory turbo bike.
I'm sure you cant wait till spring to go for a ride...I cant wait to fire up the 929 again!

The big 3 all had a bash in the mid 80's, Kawasaki did the Z750 Turbo.

In the UK at least insurance was mental and there really wasn't much of a performance advantage, that coupled with a fair bit of reliability problems, the big 3 tried turbo's then dropped em in something like 5 years.

I've ridden all 3 and much preferred the Kwak, i still wouldn't swap my Z for the turbo model though.

Cheers
Mark

Yeah I had a kz550 before this bike, it was a hoot. Not as much power as this one but it really dug into a corner.

Thanks, I really miss it. It was that or a Miata though. I may buy another in the future.

Yeah, I'd much prefer my miata over a mk2.

I had a 92 16v GTI for a while as a daily before I bought my E30, fun car(s) but not as raw or as fun as a miata.
