Unfortunately a lot of those people are my age. I really hope I don't look and sound like that in my car.

 

Yeah, I hadn't seen it either- and I try to catch most every thing.

Me and my brother came across it and couldn't stop laughing from the beginning. It only gets more comical towards the end, seriously.

The part where the girl tells the story about the old lady feeling "younger" just because she sat in her miata every day mad me

 

... of course we're not trying to claim that owning a Miata will make you feel young again but it will make you put on a polo and some comfortable shoes and long for the taste of **** on your lips!

At least our Miatas are cool!

i came from the 240 sceene filled with cliche ricers and entered a world of weird "car people" ... or should i say "miata people." It kinda annoys me how there are very few true car guys who own miatas and too many weird "enthusiasts."


Im not gunna lie, sometimes im ashamed to tell people what i drive. but i still love my miata!

 

im still getting used to how different the miata "scene" is from my previous subaru scene. with the suby it was all about big turbo, crazy boost, who has the biggest car ***** of the bunch lol.. average owner age 18-25.
now with the local miata clubs I've been introduced to, its all like 45+ y/o, going for picnics, like 2-3 out of 20 cars are modded at all. it took me some time to accept that lol..

but I must honestly say, the crowd is way nicer/friendlier...

Bought my first Miata at age 24, second at 28, 3rd at 30, all turbocharged and I hate most Miata "clubs"!! Their idea of a tech day is changing your oil or brake pads, seemed more like their maxi pad sometimes!

 

Tell me about it. Just go to a local autox, most of the miata guys are really weird...

 

I'll take every handlebar-moustache wearing, whine-and-cheesing, balding middle-aged eclectic ************ in the world over the shitstains that own 240s.
