Hello all,

I've been a long time lurker on MT, but never introduced myself. I have a 1999 10AE that made it through being both of my kids first car. Now that they have moved on to other vehicles, I am finally free to track out the Miata as I wish. I figure the car will be happier leaving behind teenage stick shift learning and sticky awkward fumblings to being caned around racetracks.
I've already started down the path of converting the car into a safe track machine. MSPNP2, intake, RB header, MBS exhaust, RB sways, 6UL's, 205/50/15 Maxxis VR-1s, 6-Point harness, Sparco EVO seat, Blackbird Fabworx GT3 rollbar. I've already done quite a few track days at Fontana ACS, Streets of Willow, WSIR. Buttonwillow and Chuckwalla are on the schedule before the end of the year. It's a real blast. I plan on keeping the car N/A in the near term until I work my way up to being a competent wheel to wheel racer. I'm pretty much following the Supermiata S2 recipe for now. Coming shortly will be XIDA coilovers and aero.
Thanks to all of you for providing great info and entertainment over the years. Hopefully I can contribute something worthwhile to your community!

Brian My grandson, making sure the tires are good to go.

Welcome to the forum. Plenty of us track our cars regularly and do our own wrenching. I'm sure you will get along fine.
