Talking 1st post....

Hey, I'm Joe. I live in Bloomington Indiana...previously Boone Nc, and before that Roanoka Va.

I have a '99 Blue & Tan, leather package...Long time member of Miata.net but I just recently discovered this site and though I would drop in.

No FI on the miata just yet but I have some turbo experience. I just recently sold my '88 GTX that was somewhat modified. I think that I want to get a BEGI S4 with xede but I am still weighing my options. I would like to learn a little bit about ecu tuning first as well. The gtx was easy when it came to turbos because it had one from stock....

I am currently deployed with the Army, heading to Iraq so that puts a little big of a damper on things for now. Guess I just get to save up my money to get to toys when I get back.

Anyways....see you guys around...

Seems to be quite a few military guys on here. Good luck in Iraq. Afghanistan sucks so you are lucky.

Welcome, stay safe in the 'box!

If I may make a suggestion to help you have more money for car stuff when you return, enroll in the SDP as soon as possible (about 1 month boots-on-ground IIRC). You surrender a portion of your income up to your base pay, and it earns 10% interest.

Well...everywhere sucks. No luck in going to Iraq over Afghanistan. I am heading to the Taliban's last strong hold in Iraq. There is still a fight to be won.

Thanks for the support and thanks for welcoming me to the forum.
