Introducing myself here from Ventura California
I'm a 22 year old college student studying mechanical engineering and working at a hydraulic and machine works shop (let me know if custom lathed shift ***** are sought after, aluminum and steel only as far as I know rn possibly stainless and bronze). I bought this car about a year ago with no intention of modifying it. The previous owner plasti dipped the entire car and ive left it since. Im the type that isnt too concerned with matching colors or body work. With my 1992 miata I couldn't resist the urge to drive fast in the curves, this is where the modifications begin.
My miata has FM sway bars, raceland coilovers (previous owner), FM frame rails, FM comp engine mounts, 15x9 rims with 205/50 front and 225/45 rears all 4 fenders are cut and covered with flares, spoiler, hood loover, yonaka exhaust, opl aluminum radiator, manual switch controlled cooling fans, stainless steel brake lines, new hawk break pads and rotors (need installing still), FM brake brace, wilwood proportioning valve, custom 2 1/2" intake with mishimoto black z-line intercooler aka interfooler at the moment
currently have parted together a turbo setup, isis/isr t25/t28 turbo, begi manifold, diy building megasquirt, turbosmart kompact bov, aem wideband, autometer boost gauge, and have yet to purchase but was thinking of rx8 yellow 450cc@3 bar (43.5psi) injectors part number Denso 195500-4450
boost and wideband gauges were later installed into the two vents holes front and center

Wow! It is rare for Fae to make an appearance around here anymore. He's a legend on the forum. I'd definitely take him up on his offer since he's thrown it out there. You can learn a lot from him. He's made the top side of 400whp on a Miata.

Faeflora yes its a 1991 1.6 while the car is a 1992, I found this out when the crank nose keyway wore out I replaced the big bolt and inserted a custom "L" key to fix it(the diagram I made hepls visualize what I mean) the one for the 92 was different than the 91 or so the miata dealer where I bought the part from said so.
As far as your offer I'm brand new to this site so idk your legendary status, and what do you mean break my car? I like it not broken.
I could definatly use some help with megasquirt, I'm 90% done actually building the MS itself but I am starting from ground 0 with tuning it. Its all new to me.
