Long time lurker, (read: freeloader of info) first time poster. A/S/L Kendall, 25, Bay Area, CA. Been driving and kinda building shitbox for the past 6 years and heavy tracking for the last 4 years. Day job is at Supertech (Everyones favorite Valve Seal Manufacturer) and side gig as an Events Coordinator for a trackday org. Made 155/135 on E85 @ Blacktrax Performance. Will hopefully be doing cams and SUBs here shortly once we can get something made. OTS isnt in the spirit of lighting money on fire for an extra 2hp.

Basic suspension stuff. Gears Racing coilovers that will be replaced by Shaftworks Bilanx once Swift gets my springs in stock....
15x9 Jongbloeds and whatever 205 tire is on sale or thrown at me that month.

So yea its been a long build process but the initial testing with the new motor has been going quite well. The rest of the car is falling apart around it but thats fine. Once its all dialed the car should be 2-3 seconds under SM records on street tires in a full weight street car. Driver Skill being the biggest factor here.

Will likely start a build thread to go more in depth on how to develop a shitbox for entirely too much money and way too much time. Already met quite a few members in here and will hopefully add more to that list at the track!

So I drove the old TCDesign car on Saturday at Laguna.... When the N/A motor dies Ill very likely boost it. Although I kinda grenaded the diff in that car but thats besides the point.....

If you're ever at a NASA NorCal event, stop by Tech and say hi. Just ask for the Miata nerd. At this rate I doubt my car will ever actually make it to an event again, but I'll be around.

 

I made it go boom once already. Luckily that was just the stock motor. Next time I will cry and add boost.

 

Its built for IG. Looks great in pictures, actually a pile of **** under the surface. At least now its not dogshit slow.

 

Will do! My boss runs NASA often so maybe I will tag along for an event at some point. Id probably get kicked out if I was driving
