Just figured I'd introduce myself since I've jumped in on a few groupbuys and leeched a bunch of info from here.

WI and forged rods/pistons should be finished up in a few weeks. And no, the pcpros didnt blow up my motor :magna:

And here's a treat for making it to the end of my post

You say PCpros, like you use a couple of them, why would you do that?
Clean car though, looks good.

Clearly! because 2 is better than 1! :)

i've been looking into a parallel MS install but havent wrapped my head around it yet. My only experience w/ a stand alone ecu is DSMLink and it basically gave you full access to all the oem ecu maps and was very easy to tune/datalog. MS seems to be a bit more complicated. Maybe when a PnP version is out I'll make the switch.

That YouTube video is great! I'll add one to my :noob: post too. Good luck with your engine.

Or maybe you could do what I did; buy one from Chad (cjernigan) to run it in parallel in the meantime, be amazed by the difference between it and the PC-pro and thank your lucky stars you stumbled into the MS and into Chad's excellent customer service. He will even test the one he'll sell you in his own car. While you're at it read some about COPS and ditch your current ignition.:giggle:

BTW, welcome to the forum!

Rafa

Likewise I'll have to get a video on mine that's great. And welcome.

Thanks!

nice turn at 4:00, you really were trying to catching that mini-van :giggle:

tann3r 02-22-2008 10:31 AM

Lol, ya them mini-vans are fast! Catching my slides are hard enough, much less other cars :). Apparently those MS3 make decent power with just a exhaust and tune. if only they were awd :sad2:

Here's another vid from the same event looking backwards. My brother wanted footage of his car and i though it would be a neat angle. Lots of traffic that lap but any track time is good fun. I love seeing how fast that rx8 disappears. we catch the BMW at about 1:30 and he refused to let us by. even on the front straight he pointed me low and proceeded to cut down into me as i went by, you'll see me swerving a bit at the end. on top of that he was rubbing so bad you can see the tire smoke in the vid.
