Hello all
My name is Tylor and i just purchased my 1990 Mariner blue with 105k on the odometer.
Bought it a little rough:
Previous owner had a whale tail spoiler he removed leaving holes all over the thing, as well as busting the rear finish panel (thanks to SoFlaRick for hooking me up with parts!!!)
Got his trunk, rear finish panel, as well as 2 big ol'boxes of stuff i picked up when i went down to meet em.
Still on the hunt for a new soft top as well as roll bar.
Immediate plans:
New top
General freshining up of the interior. Stinks cause the leaky roof as well as just general fading of a 20 year old convertable to clean up
Future plans include:
Either boss frog dual hoop or Harddog M2 with diagonals
Moss motorsports low rise with HID's in the low beam projectors
Suspension of some sort, undecided if coil overs or struts/springs will work for me
6UL's
and eventually a Jackson supercharger
But, for now, here she sits
Gonna be getting seat covers as well as new carpet to clean up the interior

which ended up like this (which was torn down and parted out)

and the wife's 2003.5 Protege5 as well
Also purchased stock

which now looks like so

Her money is in her audio and those headlights. . . . gah how i miss having those Acura TL's. . . .

What's mid south florida? Welcome though. I'm a Tallahassee temporary and from West Palm originally.
I love a smurf, but you'll find people here telling you to stay away from the JR s/c. Inexpensive turbo options are available and they give vastly more torque + power.

Sorry guys, forgot to update my location after posting this
Mid South Florida is Treasure Coast. lol
I'm in Port Saint Lucie. I'm too far north to be considered South FL, but, still too far south to be Central Florida
And i've already driven back and forth to Miami twice collecting parts as well as the car itself. I'm on the waiting list at a Miata scrap yard, but, all his tops are tan at the moment.
As to Callie's wheels, they're a no name brand. I traded my stock wheels for em plus $100 to a guy parting his car. They're exactly what she wanted, so, she's happy
And thanks for the welcome guys!

roger that. Met up with a guy with a red na 1.6 with a small turbo setup i'm interested in. He's running stock ecu, i think bigger injectors, and a non intercooled turbo. Works great for him in daily cruising.
I'm not lookin for boost any time soon though. Got too much other shiz to take care of
Oh, and got the rollbar installed

Plus, I will show you why you would rather have a turbo.
