Hey OP, I still can't tell what your car looks like. Can you take a normal pic... don't try and get all creative and shit. Just stand about 15 feet away, hold the camera at eye level, don't zoom in at all, and snap off a couple on AUTO mode. One from the side, one from the front quarter, and one from the rear quarter.

I love wagons, but your exterior shots suck.

Trent 07-11-2011 10:21 PM

That car would be awesome if it were left looking completely stock on the outside. Ultimate sleeper status would be yours.

As it sits now, the rear bumper has more waves in it than the Bering Sea. The wheels, foglights, and hood pins are straight out of the Fall 2001 collection of a Pep Boys catalog.

Sorry, I'm not sure what target you were aiming for, but you hit RICE dead center in the middle of the bullseye.

Love the engine bay though. So you got that going for you, which is nice.

kotomile 07-11-2011 10:51 PM

Agree with the others, it's some smaller wheels and stock bumpers away from being an awesome ride man.

93BP-T 07-12-2011 12:37 PM

Samnavy- I have those xact shots you mentioned I just dint upload them.

But damn! Some of you are harsh, I know I dint plan this out correctly I just went with the flow. I actually was all show at first, now I can back it up with boost.
Hey everyone has opinions so I respect that.

Braineack 07-12-2011 12:40 PM

It's not show at all.

It's a troll now. You're trollin' the ricers and unfortunately yourself for believing it's show.

93BP-T 07-12-2011 12:48 PM

Do you talk with you dick or vagina?? Cuz I cant tell by the way you talk, its like a girl. Say wat ever you want its not yours.

Braineack 07-12-2011 12:51 PM

umad?

I mean the car looks like shit. It's a shame. Just lose the stupid body kit, unless of course you are <20years old and have a spotty mustashe that you can't really fill out.

rleete 07-12-2011 12:54 PM

:magna:Ooooh, slap fight! :magna:

Braineack 07-12-2011 12:55 PM

At least I know my car doesn't look like Pep Boys shit.

OHHHHHHH SHNAP

rleete 07-12-2011 12:57 PM

No, but it doesn't run, either!

Braineack 07-12-2011 12:57 PM

it runs.

93BP-T 07-12-2011 12:59 PM

It runs like shit u mean.

Braineack 07-12-2011 01:01 PM

no, acutally it runs betters than yours looks.

I also found it funny that you posted the orange wagon as a joke, then yours.

93BP-T 07-12-2011 01:07 PM

Ahh wat ever man, Im not going to waste my time with you.

Hey everyone has opinions so I respect that.

This forum is way more go than show. The big problem with body kits is that 9/10 are usually done by some kid in his driveway with no clue. The fitment is terrible, the paint never matches, the paint is cracked, the rest of the car doesn't support the kit, wheels don't "work" with the kit, stock micro brakes, no thought into exhaust placement, etc...

And that's kind what yours looks like. The fitment on yours is absolute shite. Nothing lines up properly, the assembly looks terrible. The huge open gap under the rear bumper with the completely out-of-place monster chrome muffler is just plain ugly. There are huge gaps in the wheel-arches, and the intercooler is placed way too far back, leaving a huge gaping holes in the front bumper.

Doing a body-kit correctly is usually just a matter of money. Buy well-made kit from a name-brand company. Have somebody who knows what they're doing install it and paint it using a quality process. Buy wheels that fit, upgrade brakes to match wheels. Put effort into choosing an exhaust that complements the shape of the muffler and fits into the overall "plan". If you buy a kit with a huge nose, figure out how you're going to fill the nose. Then tint the windows and you're done.

Again, this all cost's money. Kids who buy cheap knockoff body kits and install them in their driveway lose interest when it looks like ass, then they never paint it, or get a cheap-ass paint job that makes it look worse, and they don't have the money to do any other work to the car. That's why we hate body kits around here. They're usually just fucking aweful to look at... and in most cases they increase your aerodynamic drag and actually make your car slower.

HAHA I was thinking just this. I see thread title, get excited for a killer sleeper. As I'm paging down I see the orange and am like "ugh...", then see the top of another pic and get excited again to see that sleeper, scroll down... "AHAEHHAHHHHH WTF?!@?" :vash:

Nice manifold though. +1 for zip ties on the oversized EWG hoses.

Braineack 07-12-2011 01:12 PM

so to summarize: convert body back to stock. pwn n00bs.

I agree.

I was also excited for boosted wagon sleeper goodness, until I saw the pictures.

pusha 07-12-2011 02:52 PM

the ride is so not big dick status

tasty danish 07-12-2011 05:55 PM

Dood. those fake air scoops are DA FRESHNESS

93BP-T 07-12-2011 09:45 PM

Well I like my ride the way it is. Ive had the kit on since 03 and never changed it atleast for now. Im sorry that you guys dont agree with me but I never said it was a big dick status.
I do however get compliments here n there specially when they see it move. I guess my car is not liked among you guys tho.

Braineack 07-12-2011 09:53 PM

(zack morris's phone)

That's because when you speed away from them they don't have to look at the horrid body kit.

93BP-T 07-12-2011 10:03 PM

Wats funny is when they see me they might think "a wagon with a BK and wheels...ooooh" then ZOOOOOOOOOOOM! Im gone before they can even stand a chance hahaha

Braineack 07-12-2011 10:06 PM

(zack morris's phone)

They see you trollin' at least you got that motor.

With a stock body, you would have a car in somewhere around god status. I'm with them though... as is, its ugly. As a stock body car, I'd be drooling.

93BP-T 07-12-2011 10:11 PM

I want to stick this motor in a Miata soo bad. I wud love the RWD platform

93BP-T 07-12-2011 10:13 PM

You know I have thot about putting the stock bumpers back on for the sleeper status, but I dint think it looks that bad as is.

Faeflora 07-12-2011 11:12 PM

I don't really give a shit about the looks of your car, I like your turbo rig. Nice baller WG too and nice manifold. Your WG costs more than a certain administrator's turbo.

The fact that you don't think it looks "that bad" means that you know it looks somewhat bad... which means there is hope.

Did you read my post, the one where I talked about how poor the fitment is, how the muffler and rear bumper don't work together at all, and how the location of the intercooler leaves an enormous gap in the front bumper... and that the wheels don't fill the arches near enough and the small brakes don't fill the wheels.

It's a very standard example of somebody who had "an idea", but didn't have the money to do it 100% the way they wanted, so they did it half-assed and have lived with it out of sheer ego.

True, it's not as bad as a lot of rice out there, and the fact that it's a boosted wagon gives you a lot of cred with the crowd around here, but it's still just bad rice.

Thanks for the werds. Ya the turbo, manifold, EWG, DP, AEM dryflow, GTR injectors, and Wheels were the lastest addition to this car. I just had them done this year and man I tell you I love my WG splly the dump... it SCREAMS!!

I can see what you mean about the cost as well, its very apparent. Oh and your right this aint slow.

Don't think so. I'm seeing a difference in the grill, a Cressida should have one solid grill whereas the car in question has a grill separated in the middle. Could be wrong though.

93BP-T 08-07-2011 05:55 PM

It is a Cressida wagon with a 2jz swapped
