Default Checking in from Jackson, MS

Thought I'd do what I was supposed to do in the first place and open an intro thread.

Bought my 1992 Miata a couple months ago from a guy in Shreveport, LA. Pretty good shape, repainted reasonably well, and a decent price since he included a hardtop.

Nothing in the way of mods other than the crappy Tokico setup he had on there....but I've got a pile of parts waiting for the time and place to do it (apartment management doesn't allow work on cars in the parking lot, and they already busted me for replacing my clutch master and slave cylinders there).

Currently enjoying the stock Miata experience and planning my future upgrades. After the suspension and wheels/tires, I'm considering MS then a budgetish turbo setup aiming for 190-200 WHP. Probably not for a while yet unless the right deal comes along.

Lol my problem too!!

+1 on the megasqirt first! Get it running squirted then adding a turbo in the future will be a piece of cake and you will see more of a performance gain.

I have the bandaids and wish i would have done the megasquirt first.

Welcome
