Was getting some groceries and spotted a blue miata on a wall of hot wheels.


Bought it, went home that night and decided to watch some videos of miatas.
I quickly learned that Miata is Always the Answer.

I have 3 BMWs and now... a wild miata has been added to the stable.


Purchased a 1990 Mariner Blue 5spd car. What started as an easy going life on Martha's vineyard with 9k miles put on in 10 years, turned into a car that saw the streets of Brooklyn. Some fuckery happened in between and now it fell into my lap.
Well.. The 30 or-so odd years of leisure are over.

3 words:
Track. Day. Bois.

It's bone stock with the exception of an (OBXR) exhaust. I don't know if this exhaust is anything cool or special. Sounds stock-ish to me. 140k miles. Leaves two black lines so I'm assuming it has the v-LSD. Soon as I get a chance to get underneath the car I will confirm.

Previous cars that I've built and owned have had no purpose except to go fast on the street or sit among other cars in a parking lot. Hell, I don't even like working on the damn things.. Just like driving them fast!
So here begins my introduction into the world of motorsports.

Current plans:
Go through the car and apply money where needed to bring to a *baseline*
Get a set of wheels and put some rubber on them for track use (no r compound till im a pro)
Research suspension options
Find a hard top
