Hello. Yes, I have a gay screen name but I've had it on many other forums (mostly motorcycle ones) since before the idiotic movie came out so I'm keeping it & the movie maker can go pound sand. That being said, I just traded my 1986 Toyota 4Runner for a 1993 Turbo Miata. Yes, I had to give the guy some $$ for it as well as my truck but I'm a happy camper. Never considered owning one of these but I really enjoy driving the car. It has the Link Management System & something isn't tuned right because the car cuts out when pushed past 4K RPM. I'm going to attempt to get it dyno tuned & get those kinks ironed out. I think after that it may be the most enjoyable car to drive that I have owned in quite some time since I normally drive complete junk & leave the performance to my motorcylces. Looking forward to learning a lot here & getting to know everyone. Here's a pic of my new to me ride:

Hi there! Yes, you do have a terribly gay screen name, but it's ok you should fit right in.LOL. Sorry, can't help you with the Link. I'm running the Megasquirt like a lot of folks here. There are some Link users here though, someone will chime in sooner or later. I'm sure if you post a thread in the ECU section, you'll get some responses.

Welcome aboard!

I did throw a thread on the ECU forum for some pointers.

I hope to iron out that detail & get out & drive a bit. This is my daily driver until my '89 Toyo pickup gets the head gasket repair done. I drive it with the problem & just have to stay out of the throttle...which is kind of difficult. Thanks for the welcome.

What spark plug gap are you running? Ignition setup? Boost level?

With a stock ignition, depending on boost level, you may have to run a tighter plug gap to avoid spark blowout. Or, it could be a tuning issue.
