Denoobification: Hi, my name is bill, and i'm a noob.
Just received a FREE! 1990 miata from an older gentleman who said it had to go!
he had blown out a cross-threaded spark plug, and he dropped lots of aluminum into the cylinder when he fixed it. I replaced the headgasket (and cleaned shavings from cylinder) and it now runs great.
Been race lightened (PO removed rad and seats and sold them), door seams welded, and I'm working on welding some more.
I have a mig welder, a set of torches, and a gigundus air compressor. And I'm not afraid to use them.
This is not my daily driver. No compromises have to be made for driveability. This is a free EXTRA car to do anything I want to. Hrm... Where to start?
btw, here's the car I just sold
