Hi fellas! I've been a member for a while but just been reading up on everything i need to know to get my turbo installed and running. I have to say that you guys are legends when it comes to FI and mx5's/maita's! There's an answer for everyhting on the forum.
I have a 93 S Special, 1.6 eunos import. I've had it for a few years now and have been modifying it to my liking as i go.
I took it over to the Nurburgring in April and it was a total blast! Didn't miss a beat the whole time and i didn't show it any mercy The only thing is that it was very underpowered on certain sections of the Ring.
That's how i've come to FI.
I have bought a second hand Begi Shanghai 2854 kit. Came with Begi manifold, downpipe, 440cc supra injectors, MS2, LC-1, Bov, Intercooler and pipework. I've just got a vtps and am ordering new plugs, leads and spec clutch from TDR.
I've got a 1.8 flywheel and am getting it lightened and balanced at my local engineering shop.
So that's what's happening here, with me, in Sunny Ireland (not!!)

Welcome...sounds like a good start on the project. Post pics of the car so we can see what you are working with.
