Default Finally saying hi

Hello kind people of miataturbo.net

I'm Gasper from Slovenia (Central-Eastern Europe) and probably one of the first from my country to post on this forum. After lurking around for few years and reading through numerous build threads/turbo discussions, I think it's time to finally gather some courage and introduce myself. I own a 2002 1.6 NB2 for 6 years now, half of which was mostly just a rice party, but for the past 2 years it started to turn for better. I’ll explain more about it in my build thread, which I’ll open soon enough in media subforum and paste the link here for optimal de-noobisation.

Things to expect in my project: built VVT swap with supporting mods, EFR6258 on a custom tubular manifold, 3” exhaust, dyno tuned standalone ecu, semi track/drift prepared car etc. So in short..just another proper 300hp build to you, but seriously unique and mental to standards in my country. Over here it’s illegal to do these kind of modifications on street cars and also 80% of all NA/NB miatas are 1.6.

Since english is my second language, I also apologise for any spelling mistakes or wrong usage of terms in advance. To give something in return, here’s a baby cat sneaking around my old wheels and seeking for your attention.

Gasper, welcome! Of course we know where Slovenia is! It makes no sense your country doesn't have Trieste to me. You need more coastline.

Sturovo up in Slovakia on this forum makes good turbo manifolds for Miatas. He's living further North in the country now I think. He does good work.

I was just in Budapest and Wien last summer and brought parts to another forum member.

Let me know if you need any help.

Thank you, I’ll do my best to keep it up.

Sixshooter, that’s nice to hear, but Trieste and south coast are just a few of many fails by our country’s politics. Apart from that it’s beautiful country with friendly and fun people.

Example A:

I agree, Sturovo is fairly good quality but has a long queue so I went custom and slighty more expensive route. Budapest in Hungary is also very nice and the nearby track Hungaroring is great. I was there few months ago and definitely going back next year.

Quite similar to MRLS but a smaller european version (little over 250 miatas)
