I have been lurking for a while...absorbing knowledge (and laughing at the loads of crap people dole out here ;-) figured I would make my official first post here lest I be beaten about the head and neck repeatedly (not that this will save me).

I have a 96M that I recently swapped a 99 engine into (which then ran lean)...last weekend I installed a MSPNP...thus my attendance here I run the car in SCCA CSP time trials, a few autocrosses and an occasional jaunt on the street.

Currently the car is running on the MS using an AEM WBO2. No tuning yet since the car is on jack stands (waiting for a couple of bolts to arrive so I can wrap up my bushing/tie-rod end/ball joint/etc install).

That pretty much sums it up for me

Western NC? Where from man? Miata guys who understand the car is a sports car up here in the mountains are VERY rare, I'm sure you understand that.

Pics of the car and or name though? I'm going through CSP hill climb/auto-x cars I've seen around here (Hill climbs and CCR events) and I can't put a name/car to the number. The only person I can think of with those wheels that I know of is Ted (?) and his son, but they live down in SC and blew their diff out at Eagles nest last weekend (or weekend before, its been a long summer.)

Welcome...I'm technically a CSP car now...x.X (used to be a STS2 car...#3...crappy purple miata on stock wheels and RS2s with CCR last season) but hopefully will be a SM2 car within the month.

 

I am in Hendersonville......my name is Coty. I just got the car in March so I have been spending most of my spare $/time getting it up to snuff this year. I did get a chance to run TGPR and CMP however...
