Hello everyone! I'm Adrian from Eastern Washington.
I have a 92 1.6 Miata that I am in the process of rebuilding. Has gone through a few different phases. Had an mkturbo kit that ran great for the 3+ years I had it. Piston rings were tired so I did a mild rebuild with forged rods. Then as of last year I switched to a kraken 3in setup paired with a Pulsar gbc 20-300. Wanted to share the data here but piston #1 started to have problems and scored the cylinder wall lol. Could have been tune related but rebuilding with forged pistons this time so should all good once everything is done. Looking forward to documenting the build and seeing what you guys think

Nice clean build! definitely looking forward to your build thread as I am still debating which kit and turbo to get. Plus there is not a lot of test data available for the gbc turbos.
Good luck with the rebuild, you should have a pretty solid engine after that!

 

Thanks! Couldn't get a good datalog when it was running but the spool was really quick and it would pull all the way to redline. Just recently finished take the engine out so aiming for the summer for it to be back in. I should get on the build thread already lol
