I ran that combo (6-speed/4.3) for sprinting/TA, found that I lost a bit of time on the longer straights, needed to rev another 500/1000rpm to not be rpm-limited, but most of my circuits had short straights and it was good on those. Mind you, it was a lot better than the 6-speed/4.7 I tried briefly!!
