New noob from Italy here. I just bought a '96 1.8L NA for both street (mainly mountain roads in my area) and track use - not a dd nor a stripper, just a car to enjoy whenever possible.

I'm not sure if I'll ever go down the turbocharged route but I'm definitely interested in suspension/brake/clutch-flywheel/weight reduction mods.

Just finished fitting elise probax seats and removing A/C, radio, alarm and a few other unnecessary bits and pieces and changing all fluids and filters.

The next step is to take her up to the Nurburgring this weekend and hoping the weather is nice and the track is open. I found a shop near there that has good prices on coilovers and brakes so I maybe tempted... still undecided on what to get but tempted nonetheless.

Anyway there's some great info on here so off I go to search away.
