Smile Hello from Chicago

Noob here. I got my first Miata in August of this year. It was my fathers and sadly he passed and I get to enjoy his ride. It is a 2001 base model with 8,000 miles on the odometer. Since getting it, I have installed a hard top and ordered the Work Meister S1 Wheels. It is going to be a long 3 months waiting for those. Thanks for the add.

Welcome to the forum. Sorry for your loss.

We have a few members in the Chicago area on the forum. Maybe you could meet up with some of them.

Holyyyy crap. 8000 miles? Whew. I put that many miles on my 2001 in the past year!

what does the base come with? Vvt still? 5 speed? 3.9 rear end? Im guessing no abs.

Sorry for your loss. However, welcome to the forum. I'm in Chicago as well. Sounds like you have a great low mile car.
