Hello from Evil Genius
Hey all, just joined, I'm the guy who built the Snowmobile powered Miata LeMons car, I'll post some pics of the build as I have time..

Welcome aboard. I look forward to pics of that build.
Do what now? 2 stroke?
Please. Give
How hot did the drive belt get during LeMons (or did you use the miata trans)?
Interesting. People usually put bigger engines in if they do a swap. In for goatse-esque gaping engine pay with tiny little snowmobile engine.
I could see saving time on fueling stops if you only had to change drivers at the mandated times, but didn't need to stay in the pits for the full five minutes for fueling. But lap times would suffer. Interesting.
Welcome, Evil Genius!
Did some searching on the ol' webz. Apparently the entire engine and tranny only weights like 80lbs so the car is down to about 1300lbs. They are about 20hp down from stock, but I think that puts them ahead in the end.
And they never broke a drive belt... *golf clap* |

There's an r/everything.
Well, r/spacedicks exists, I don't know why r/miata wouldn't
I wanted to link to r/spacedicks sneakily there but I also didn't want to get banned when one of the mods clicked it at work.
I seriously considered it as well, but I think I'm already cruising for a warning today. This is what happens when its slow at the office.
