Default Hello from FL

Hello from the FL panhandle. I’ve had my 91 for a little while now. Starting a 1.8 turbo build to swap in. I know it’s probably easier to get a 1.8 car and go from there but they’re steadily climbing in price. Plus I like my 91. Any tips beginner threads?

Hello from South Florida. I grew up in the panhandle.

Start with the sticky threads. They are the sacred texts of MT. Stay away from facebook groups.

With prices jumping and not slowing I can understand not wanting to start with a different car. The 1.8 swap is a smart idea.

Welcome. I am heading to Destin tomorrow to deliver a 1.6 setup to a customer. Shoot me an email and I can throw in some 1.8 parts for you.

I have a buddy selling a k20/k24 head combo, fresh build and super clean. I happen to be very good friends with a fabricator, we’re currently looking at options with it before deciding which route to take. I will keep you in mind if I do decide to commit to the 1.8
