Default Hello from Iceland

Hello all,

Initially when I got my Miata I lived in SoCal and have since relocated to Iceland.
I have an Emerald Green NB2 Miata that I bought with a busted head and have been working on fixing it up and modifying it, the list of mods/fixes currently is:
  • Replaced overheated head with a used JDM head.
  • Redid timing belt, water pump, headgasket.
  • FM VMaxx Xtreme Sport coilovers
  • FM sway bars
  • Supermiata cross-flow radiator
  • FM Coolant reroute
  • FM Stage 1 Turbo kit
  • DaveFab coolant expansion tank
  • Suzuki Cappuchino Windshield washer fluid reservoir
  • FM Happy meal clutch/flywheel as well as related seals.
  • Advanti Storm S1 15x7.5
  • Dunlop DZ102s
  • Supermiata adjustable endlinks
  • Supermiata lug nuts
  • RoadsterSport 2.5" Midpipe
  • FM 2.5" Turbo Muffler
  • New Fuel Filter
  • Injectors sent to be cleaned and flow matched
I definitely have more things I want to change, such as switch to a standalone such as MS3 and upgraded injectors. I am fairly happy with the current power levels at 8 PSI and not sure going much higher would really improve the driving experience. The MS3 would more be for being able to data log properly as well avoid issues such as the idle droop related to the FM stage 1 kit with the voodoo box. Also looking to replace the wheels with either 6UL og FM's new Kogeki wheels as they have the ideal offset for Miatas in my mind.

Currently my car is sitting in a container somewhere in the Atlantic ocean and I'm fairly anxious to get my hands back on it.

Nice. My corporate overlords are based in iceland, and we had a trip booked there last year but got boned by the Rona thing. Hopefully will manage to make it over there later this year.

Shipping parts up there must cost a pretty penny. Lovely views and weather though

We had a camper booked for 10 days for last May. Also may be a good toe in the water and opportunity to throw myself at corporate overlords and beg for a job

Ah yes! Definitely not cheap! I did most of my shopping for the car before moving though!

The camper is definitely an awesome idea! Now to just hope for good weather! Job wouldn't be terrible either
