Default Hello from London

Hey boys & girls

I'm Paul from london (england) and i'm now the proud owner of a 99 mk2 vs.

Its running a basic HKS turbo kit (about 5 psi - FCON Mini) HKS exhaust, HKS coilovers, HKS gauges, TE37 wheels.

Joined up really as i like to tinker and obviously wanna notch the power up on the 5.

Enjoy

Paul

Pretty nice setup, very sharp looking car

What engine management are you running?
I see that with whatever engine management you are using you still use the factory airflow meter, which is fine except you are running an opened blow off valve. If you recirculate the blow off valve into the intake of the turbo (after the airflow meter), you will see some drastic improvements in drive-ability.

Heres a photo of my setup to illustrate what I mean, you can see the recirculated blow off valve in the bottom of the picture.

Its running an FCON MINI!

Car used to belong to the managing director of HKS Europe ( hence the theme )

The intake pipe and bov will be off when i get a fmic, looking into alternative engine management. not had her long but even on this low psi set up its fun

Welcome, that is a very clean and beautiful nb you got there

I think your best route to get good power out of it would be:
1) fmic
2) bigger injectors
3) Adaptronic ecu

That would allow you to basically run 10-16psi and the car would be WAY stronger.

Welcome to the board, the car looks great. I've always been a fan of HKS stuff.
