Yes, we did actually do that last night.
-----Real Post:
Hi mt.net! I've been lurking for a while now and finally decided to introduce myself.

I've had my Miata for about 2 months now and love it.
It's a '99 with leather and Bose. Black. With a torsen . Bought it with a RacingBeat header Aem intake, and maybe a roadster exhaust? The tip says roadster, but not sure about the rest.

It reads 54k miles, but it is technically TMU. Not sure what happened but it seems to be a mistake in paperwork when it was last sold, dealer incorrectly recorded the miles. It looks like a 54k car to me, and thats all that matters to me.

I've order a diypnp and racelands. I'm kind of on a budget. But I'd like to by Turbo'd by the end of the year. I'm looking at the BEGI kits. After endless hours of researching them I'm no closer to my decision. I might go with a shanghai kit with a t2871 though. If I find a deal on a turbo I'll probably buy it and piece together my own kit.

The diypnp should be here sometime this week, and I'm sure I'll run into some kind of issue so you may be hearing from me... I'm more into the software side of things but I feel like I should be able to assemble and install it for the most part.

I have no idea how much power I want to make. The only other miata I've driven is a supercharged one running only 4-5 pounds of boost. Obviously wasn't enough for me. I'll be happy anywhere in the 200-250 range, for a little.

And finally some pictures!
(it won't be a 4x4 for much longer!)

Thanks for all the help you've already provided!

Welcome to here.

Turbo kits are so 2008! And you'll regret not piecing together your own setup.

Racelands huh? I've heard those boys aren't too bad but not great either. It should provide a good bump from stock though. Let us know how they ride for ya.

Thanks, yeah I will probably end up piecing my own setup together. One because of money, and two because I'd rather have "my" setup.

I've heard the same basically. I'm pretty satisfied by the ride on stock, but I'd like a little bit better. And $300 for coilovers, you can't beat that. I'm sure they'll be plenty for me.
