Default Not really a Miata

Good evening (or whatever time it is where you are),
My name is Joel. I'm currently building a GBS Zero. It's a Lotus 7 replica with a Mazda drive trained. Currently it's all stock, but that won't last very long. I'm not quite sure where the long run will lead, but I have a feeling it will be more power than reasonable in a super light car. Looking forward to it.

I would like to drive one of these someday to determine if I should buy one.

Welcome to the forum.

Very cool. Pictures please! It's always been a dream of mine to build a Lotus 7 rep. Looks like you're in Colorado, is there a US distributor? Are there any hefty fee's over what's listed on their website to get a kit over here?

Once my garage is clean enough to be able to take a picture, I'll get some up. The US distributor used to be just a few miles from me, but he got out of the business recently. I bought his last kit. There is a new distributor in California, but I've not dealt either him. The kit was quite reasonably priced, but you know it never ends that way. My plans involve a turbo and a lot of custom parts, so it will probably get out of hand quickly
